Rabbits fighting on Easter morning

I went for a run this morning and saw two cute wild rabbits prancing up and down near each other. How nice on Easter morning. I wondered if it was some sort of display behaviour.
Umm – yes – two cute cotton tails soon turned into a ball of fury and squeals rolling down the hill as they fought viciously. Ok, so a dominance interaction – interesting nonetheless.
It made me ponder how we make associations about things and people which are too general and unfair. They can be based on physical appearance, gender, age, socioeconomic situation and so on. I’ve been startled by this several times recently.
How about you – are you looking for the real person within when you meet someone new or do you make assumptions that will forever limit your dealings / relationship with them?
